'The KCRC is a Team Roping, Tie-Down Roping, and Breakaway Roping Club. Breakaway categories are Novice, B, A, and the Men's Breakaway Division. You can only enter the Men's Breakaway, if you are not in the Tie Down. Categorization for members is decided upon by the Flagging Committee. Tie Down Roping categories are B and A, (no novice). Team Roping Categories are Novice, B, A, and Century/Mixed. Our team roping events are draw 2 partners for the A Division, and draw 2 A's or draw1/pick1 for the B Division. To Enter the Century/Mixed: Must be either a century team with a combined age of 90, or a mixed male/female team with no age requirements. Enter one time. Please do not be discouraged to join because you don't think you can find a partner. They will be provided, and most members are usually willing to rope with someone if asked.
If you would like to join, meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month. 7:30PM at the PUD Building in Ellensburg. You must attend a meeting to join.

The KCRC will be awarding 2 scholarships in the amount of $500 for 2024. The KCRC at their own discretion, may choose to combine the scholarships. Scholarships will be provided on KCRC
involved, involvement in other equine activities, career plans,
academic achievement, essays, and references. Eligibility is limited to those
